ORIGIN & TRADITION

Jamones Majada Pedroche is a family-owned industrial company with more than four generations of pork meat tradition, founded as such by Don Miguel Torralbo Mohedano, in 2001. Located in the northern pasture of the province of Córdoba, specifically in the town of Villanueva de Córdoba.

THE SUCCESS

There in the montanera, under a warm climate, our pigs search for food surrounded by centenary holm oaks to reach enough quality so that Majada Pedroche products continue to be one of the greatest gastronomic jewels that the Pedroches Valley houses.

MODERN FACILITIES, TRADITIONAL TECHNIQUES

At Majada Pedroche we continue to use traditional techniques, but we have also incorporated the latest technologies to offer 100% quality assurance in our products.

We have more than 120 hectares of pasture, a place better known as “Majada de la Vega” (Los Pedroches Valley). We have 1000 m2 of a modern drying room and store in Pol. Ind. UI2, s / n. (Villanueva de Córdoba).

All our products are made from the same unique raw material, such as 100% pure Iberian acorn-fed Pork, protected by the Denomination of Origin “Los Pedroches”.

We control the quality process from start to finish, for this, our pigs have enough space for proper development, exercise and feeding, the latter essential to offer us the infiltrated fat that makes this breed unique in the world.

THE VALLEY OF LOS PEDROCHES, AN UNBEATABLE ENVIRONMENT

TO io after year, when autumn arrives, this Mediterranean forest made up of holm oaks in the north of Córdoba, comes to your appointment and generously provides the Iberian pigs with their main sustenance, abundant acorns and pastures that complement their diet.

It is the phase known as montanera and it will be responsible for the excellent quality of the gastronomic products that will later be obtained and for their peculiar and unctuous fat. It is an ecological environment in which environmental resources are respected and used in a sustainable way, its exploitation being compatible with the conservation of these unique places.
